Senior Associate

Maria Daniela Poli is a Senior Associate in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach.

She specialises in investment fund matters, and advises clients on the structuring, setting-up, organisation, restructuring and day-to-day management of Luxembourg investment funds (both UCITS and AIFs), as well as their respective management entities.

Maria Daniela has been a member of the Bar Association Trani (Italy) since 2009 and the Luxembourg Bar since 2019.

Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach, she worked at an Italian law firm in the field of administrative and private law. She was also Marie Curie Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Konstanz (Germany) and Visiting Professor at the Freie Universität Berlin (Germany).

Maria Daniela holds a Master’s in Law and a PhD in Comparative Law from the University of Bari (Italy). She obtained the Italian National Habilitation as Associate Professor in Comparative Law in 2014 and 2018.
