Frances is a Senior Associate in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach.
She advises domestic and international clients on corporate and regulatory aspects of establishing and operating investment funds in Luxembourg. Frances has a particular focus on semi-liquid alternative investment funds, including Luxembourg Part II funds and funds qualifying as European long-term investment funds (ELTIFs). Her practice spans the full life cycle of a fund, from initial structuring and regulatory authorisation through to ongoing governance and investor relations matters.
- Frances has a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Commerce (Economics and Finance) from Victoria University of Wellington (New Zealand).
- Frances was admitted as a barrister and solicitor of the High Court of New Zealand in 2020.
- Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach in 2022, Frances worked for a third-party AIFM in Luxembourg.
- She has legal and compliance experience across banking, life sciences and infrastructure sectors in the United States and New Zealand.
