Cristina Bolea is a Senior Associate in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach.

Cristina specialises in regulated and non-regulated investment funds. She advises clients on the regulatory, corporate and organisational aspects of the set-up, structuring, restructuring, marketing and ongoing operations of investment funds. She focuses on undertakings for collective investment in transferable securities (UCITS), as well as alternative investment funds and AIF managers under the Alternative Investment Fund Managers Directive (AIFMD). Cristina also specialises in risk management matters under the UCITS and AIFMD Directives.

She mainly advises large global asset managers on a range of UCITS and alternative investment funds.

Cristina holds a Law degree from the University of Bucharest (Romania) and a Master’s degree in International Business from the Warsaw School of Economics (Poland).

Cristina is a qualified Romanian attorney and has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2016, and a member of the Bucharest Bar since 2008.
