Thomas Allain is a Counsel in the Finance & Capital Markets and the Restructuring & Insolvency practices of Arendt & Medernach.
Thomas advises on all types of secured and unsecured financing transactions, including structured finance, real estate finance, fund finance, acquisition finance and asset finance.
Thomas also advises clients on regulated and non-regulated securitisation transactions, as well as on capital markets issues, where his areas of focus encompass debt issuance and listing.
Thomas also assists clients on complex private international law matters including the legal enforceability of set-off, netting and collateral arrangements with respect to cross-border transactions and related insolvency risks.
Thomas is also involved in restructuring matters and has a wide experience in the enforcement of security interests.
- Thomas holds a Master’s degree in Business Law (Master 2 Opérations et fiscalité internationales des sociétés) from the Sorbonne Law School in Paris (Université Paris 1 – Panthéon Sorbonne).
- He is a member of the Paris Bar and the Luxembourg Bar.
