We are pleased to invite you to our Midi de l’Entreprise seminar “The EU Digital Identity Wallet: The biggest revolution in online identification yet”, which will take place in the auditorium at Arendt House on Wednesday 11 November 2026 at 12:30 pm.

The EU Digital Identity Wallet (EUDIW), introduced by Regulation (EU) 2024/1183 (eIDAS 2), is about to change the way we all prove who we are, access services and share information online. The aim is simple: one trusted digital identity, recognised across the EU and designed to facilitate access to both public and private services. Beyond simplifying everyday interactions, this new regulatory framework has the potential to unlock new digital services, simplify customer journeys and accelerate digitalisation across industries.

With relying party registration opening on 24 December 2026 and mandatory acceptance of the EUDIW upon a user’s voluntary request following in December 2027, the time to assess the impact of the new framework is now.

During this Midi de l’Entreprise seminar, our experts will explain the key features of the EUDIW, explore the opportunities it may create for businesses and citizens, and discuss its practical implications that businesses may soon face.

The discussion will be brought to life through three concrete use cases:

• opening a bank account

• retrieving prescribed medications with ePrescription

• signing on behalf of a company while demonstrating the authority to do so

This 30-minute presentation will conclude with key takeaways and implementation challenges, followed by a Q&A session.
