Faustine Cachera is a Counsel in the IP, Communication & Technology practice of Arendt & Medernach. She advises clients on issues relating to technology (with a particular focus on IT and digital transformation projects, cybersecurity and artificial intelligence), data protection and privacy, media, telecommunications, e-commerce, commercial contracts, intellectual property, unfair competition and consumer law.

  • Master’s in Business and IP/IT Law and double degree in English and German from the Paris-Sud University (France, 2013)
  • Master 2 in Multimedia and Computer Law from the Panthéon-Assas University (France, 2014)
  • Admitted to the Paris Bar and to the Luxembourg Bar since January 2016

  • Faustine is a member of several associations, including the Luxembourg Data Protection Association (APDL), the International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property (AIPPI) and the French association of Trademark and Design Law (APRAM). She has also been appointed as a Luxembourg KnowledgeNet Chapter Chair of the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP) for 2024 and 2025.
  • Faustine is a member of the editorial board of DPO News, a bimonthly magazine in law, technology and management.

  • Prior to returning to Arendt & Medernach where she started her career in 2015, Faustine worked in the IP & Technology law practice of another top-tier law firm in Luxembourg. She also gained in-house experience on secondment to a Luxembourg telecom operator, where she handled TMT, regulatory and data protection matters. In 2019, Faustine won the national pleading contest organised by the Young Bar Association of Luxembourg.
