
Shekhar Guin is a Counsel in the Investment Management and Private Equity & Real Estate practices of Arendt & Medernach.
He specialises in the structuring, setting up and organisation of regulated and non-regulated alternative investment funds (AIFs) and their managers (AIFMs) as well as on the structuring of European long-term investment funds (ELTIFs). He also advises domestic and foreign asset managers on private equity and real estate acquisitions, restructuring and financing activities.
In 2018-2019, Shekhar was seconded to Arendt & Medernach’s Hong Kong office, where he advised clients based in the Asia Pacific region on the setting up of their Luxembourg investments funds and other Luxembourg legal and regulatory matters.
- Shekhar holds a Master’s degree in Banking and Financial Law from the University of Toulouse I Capitole (France).
- He also graduated from ESCP Business School with a Specialised Master in International Business Law and Management.
