Arendt & Medernach advised Valiant Asset Management Limited (“Valiant”), an alternative credit manager focused on the Western European corporate middle market, on its USD 100 million hybrid capital investment in House of Modo S.à r.l. (“Modo”), a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of premium eyewear.
Through this transaction, Valiant and its partners have acquired a minority stake in Modo, supporting the company’s strategic priorities and long-term growth ambitions under the leadership of its founder and CEO, Alessandro Lanaro. The investment is designed to provide flexible capital to further strengthen Modo’s global positioning and accelerate its expansion across key American and European markets.

The company has earned international recognition for its design excellence and pioneering environmental and social initiatives.
