Arendt has advised its long-standing client 17Capital on the closing of its second NAV lending fund. Marking the largest NAV fundraise to date, 17Capital raised $7.5 billion, including affiliated mandates.

17Capital’s credit fund provides NAV loans to high-performing private equity managers in Europe and North America, which are mostly used by managers to grow their portfolios as well as to refinance existing debt and generate interim liquidity for their investors.

The Arendt team was led by partner Camille Bourke and counsel Madia Camara (Private Funds), partner Lynn Alzin (Funds Finance) and partner Yves Philippart de Foy (Tax). The team involved lawyers across multiple practices including associates Pedro Alberto Garcia Gimeno, Carlos Mas Salcedo, Albert Catalan Barat and Gadara Hamparzoumian (Private Funds), Javier Ruiz Lorente (Funds Finance) and Hendrick van der Grift (Tax).
