New windowRegisterAbout the event
In April 2025, the CSSF will replace the current VISA-stamping procedure by introducing the new “e-Identification” system for UCITS, Part II UCIs, SICARs and SIFs.
One of the key upcoming changes is a predefined list of amendments that do not require prior CSSF approval, allowing funds to implement certain updates more swiftly. In addition, the CSSF emphasises that it is the responsibility of the fund’s governing body to ensure that the fund’s prospectus and documentation are compliant with regulatory requirements.
A detailed guide with more information about the new procedure will be made available on 20 March.
