Florent Mourier is a Senior Manager in the Forensic Investigations, Corporate Intelligence & Litigation Support practice of Arendt Regulatory & Consulting, in which he is the Corporate Intelligence services expert.

Florent has more than 20 years of experience advising clients across Europe. He specialises in information and intelligence, including both open-source intelligence (OSINT) and human intelligence (HUMINT).

Florent has unique expertise in worldwide research strategies, and has developed a deep knowledge of deal-driven corporate intelligence and high-stakes due diligence in the context of dormant asset inquiries, AML-CTF (PEP identification and profiling, complex hidden UBOs), sanctions (cumulative control), corruption (reviews of intermediaries, procurement risk mapping) and ESG matters (human rights violations, environmental risks).

In this context, he has leveraged his multi-disciplinary case management skills to assist clients and law firms internationally in various large-scale investigations, including in respect of Ponzi schemes, corruption, workplace misconduct, conflicts of interests, money laundering and asset tracing.

Florent previously built a long and illustrious career in the EMEA Investigations & Disputes practice of a leading global advisory firm, based in France and Switzerland. He also led his own boutique firm in Geneva from 2019 to 2021, supporting clients in the performance of risk assessments, due diligence, investigations and litigation.

In 2000, Florent was awarded a Master’s degree by Audencia Business School in Nantes (France). He also earned a Certificate of Advanced Studies (CAS) in Regulation of Global Sport from the University of Lausanne (Switzerland) in 2020.
