Nicolas
Descharmes
Director
Nicolas Descharmes is Director of the Operational AML and Compliance Services department at Arendt Services.
Nicolas started his career in the banking sector in 2009 in the Compliance field, with a focus on AML/CFT. He joined the Arendt Group in 2013, and acted as Compliance Officer and Data Protection Officer for Arendt Services from 2016 to 2019.
As part of his current role, he is the Responsable du Contrôle (RC) for several CSSF-supervised funds and investment fund managers.
He is an active member of the Association Luxembourgeoise des Compliance Officers (ALCO).
Nicolas holds a Master’s degree in Private Law and Criminal Sciences specialised in Penal Law, a Master’s degree in Wealth Engineering Negotiation, and a university diploma in Criminology from the Université Nancy II (France).
