Deadlines, fees, liability
Registrations can be cancelled up to 5 business days before the scheduled training date (no matter how far in advance you register). For registrations cancelled later than this, the following cancellation fees apply: 50% of the session fee for cancellations up to 2 business days before the training date, and 100% of the session fee after that time.

Arendt reserves the right to postpone or cancel training sessions without liability. In such cases, participants will be notified at least 5 business days before the training date.

Substitution of one participant by another
It is permissible to substitute one participant for another provided that advance notification is given. This can be done up to 24 business hours before the relevant training date, by email to No additional fees apply. We will confirm such changes via email.

If you prefer, you may also notify us by telephone on 00352 40 78 78 558.

We provide certificates of attendance at our training sessions, by email. Please note the following information about attendance:

  • Our video-conferencing tool allows us to generate an attendance report following each live online session. For this reason, it is important that you connect using the link sent to you by email. Participants who merely dial in on a phone without using the appropriate link will not be counted as having completed the training session, and will therefore not receive any post-session material.
  • For on-site training sessions, you will be asked to sign a printed attendance sheet.
  • For a few of our topics, particularly those on AML-CTF, we inform you upon registration that you will need to complete a quiz within 1 month after the end of the session in order to retrieve your certificate from the digital platform.

Once you register for a session, a team member will send you a confirmation email within 2 business days. You do not need to print it out to show our reception team for on-site sessions. However, we do strongly encourage you to read it carefully, and to keep a copy for your records.

For details on data protection, please visit the relevant page of our website, which is updated by our DPO on a regular basis. Do not hesitate to email us with any further data protection questions.

At Arendt, we want you to feel welcome and to receive efficient assistance with any inquiries you may have. Here is some practical information to note when attending on-site sessions:

  • There is a reception desk on the ground floor to welcome you. Please check in there when you arrive.
  • Some training sessions are held on floor 1. This floor has its own reception desk, and our employees are happy to assist (by calling your taxi, refilling your coffee or tea, etc.).
  • WiFi is available for our clients during their on-site visits.
  • Snacks are provided for training sessions of more than 2 hours, and lunch is provided for full-day sessions (this is included in the training fee). If you have specific dietary requirements, please contact us. Hot and cold drinks are available throughout all sessions.

Such sessions combine the advantages of in-person and virtual learning.

For the open sessions listed on our training agenda we propose in some cases such a format and we mark them with a sticker accordingly. We remain available to provide further information and encourage generally to consider “on-site” attendance in the interest of ensuring a high level of exchange and interaction among all participants.

Also for custom sessions, a hybrid format can be provided.

We send invoices by email a few days after the training date (no pre-payment is required). We will also email you the training material (copy of the presentation) and your attendance certificate.
We would greatly appreciate if you would keep us informed of any change of company contact details such as the entity’s name or address.

For open sessions listed on our training agenda, we indicate the language of instruction in the session description. In most cases the session description is written in the language of instruction.

For customised sessions, you can choose between at least English or French for the spoken language of instruction. For many of them it is also possible to select German or Luxembourgish as the spoken language of instruction.

Note that in many cases, the written training material will be provided in English. This will always be specified in the training proposal for the customised programme.
