Arendt & Medernach has acted as legal advisor to the joint lead managers of the latest sovereign bond issuance by the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.

The joint lead managers were Barclays Europe, Banque et Caisse d’Épargne de l’État, Luxembourg, Banque Internationale à Luxembourg S.A., BGL BNP Paribas and HSBC Continental Europe.

The sovereign bonds with a total issue size of EUR 1,250,000,000 were issued as a single tranche on 23 October 2024 with a maturity of ten (10) years and a coupon of 2.625%. They are admitted to trading on the regulated market of the Luxembourg Stock Exchange.
