Arendt has jointly with Latham & Watkins LLP assisted Coinbase with securing its Markets in Crypto Assets (MiCA) licence from the Luxembourg Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF), enabling Coinbase Luxembourg S.A. to offer crypto asset services across all 27 EU Member States.

This milestone marks a significant step for Coinbase and enables it to operate under a unified, regulated crypto environment in one of the largest economic regions in the world, while solidifying Coinbase’s position as a global leader in regulatory compliance and innovation.
