Arendt acted as Luxembourg counsel to its long-lasting client 17Capital, on the final closing of 17Capital Strategic Lending Fund 6, which raised $5.5bn, including co-investments and affiliated vehicles. Arendt advised alongside UK firm Macfarlanes who was leading on the fundraise.
Fund 6 will continue to provide non-dilutive, flexible capital solutions to GPs supporting larger GP commitments, franchise growth and succession planning. The strategy builds on the proven approach of previous 17Capital Strategic Lending funds.
