Carl
de La Chapelle
Partner
Carl de La Chapelle is a Partner in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach, where he advises fund sponsors on all of the regulatory and corporate law aspects of the structuring and ongoing operations of alternative investment funds. His focus in this area is on private equity and venture capital. Further fields of expertise include fund governance, downstream assistance with respect to fund investments, carried interests and co-investment arrangements, as well as corporate reorganisations.
Carl has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2012 and joined Arendt & Medernach in the same year. From 2013 to 2015 he served in the company’s New York office.
Carl holds a Master I degree in Corporate Law from the University of Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne and a Master II degree in Corporate Law from University of Paris XI. He graduated from ESCP Europe’s Master in Management programme in 2010.
Languages: English, French, knowledge of Spanish.
