Carl de La Chapelle is a Senior Associate in the Private Equity & Real Estate practice area of Arendt & Medernach, where he specialises in advising domestic and foreign clients on corporate and regulatory aspects of private equity fund formation and related acquisition structuring. He also advises multinational and domestic companies on the structuring, financing and implementation of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint-ventures, corporate restructuring and corporate finance.
Carl has been a member of the Paris Bar since 2012 and joined Arendt & Medernach in the same year. He has been admitted to practice in Luxembourg under his French professional title.
From 2013 to 2015, Carl served in the New York office of Arendt & Medernach, where he advised U.S., Canadian and South American clients on corporate law, corporate finance, private equity, mergers and acquisitions.
Carl received a Master I degree in corporate law from the University of Paris I - Panthéon Sorbonne and a Master II degree in corporate law from University of Paris XI. Carl graduated from ESCP Europe (Master in Management program) in 2010.
