Bastien
Burin
Counsel
Bastien Burin is a Counsel in the Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions practice of Arendt & Medernach.
He specialises in corporate law, advising global and domestic companies, as well as private equity and real estate funds, on the structuring, financing and implementation of domestic and cross-border mergers and acquisitions, joint-ventures, corporate reorganisations, and governance matters.
Bastien joined Arendt & Medernach in 2010. He is a member of the Luxembourg Bar and was registered with the Law Society of Hong Kong until 2021.
From October 2019 to December 2021, Bastien was seconded to the Hong Kong office of Arendt & Medernach, where he advised clients based in the Asia Pacific region in connection with the acquisition, disposal and restructuring of businesses or assets.
He holds a Master’s degree in law from Paris Saclay University (France) as well as a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) from Leiden University (Netherlands).
