Nicolas Bouveret is a Partner in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach. He advises global asset managers and institutional clients on the structuring, formation and marketing of Luxembourg private funds, with a particular focus on private credit strategies.
He regularly advises on the establishment of Luxembourg alternative investment fund structures, including partnership and corporate structures, evergreen and semi-liquid vehicles. He also advises sponsors on retail private market offerings such as ELTIFs and Part II funds. His practice covers a broad range of private market strategies. He has extensive experience advising sponsors on complex cross-border investment platforms and ongoing fund operations.
Nicolas has a strategic focus on the private credit funds industry and leads the private credit fund structuring team within the Investment Management practice at Arendt.
- He has an LL.M. in International Taxation from New York University (US) (2008).
- He also has a Law degree from the Université Catholique de Louvain (Belgium) (2005) .
- He is a member is several professional associationsss, including ALFI, LPEA and AIMA. In addition, he has been a member of the New York Bar since 2009 and the Luxembourg Bar since 2011.
- In 2013-2014, Nicolas was seconded to the New York office of Arendt where he assisted US and global asset managers in their European fundraising initiatives by setting up Luxembourg investment funds.
