Mayrit

Born in Madrid (Spain) in 1985, Daniel Mayrit lives and works in Madrid. He received a Master’s degree in photography from the EFTI School of Photography in Madrid. He creates hazy portraits resembling identikit images, evoking the guilt of some of the most influential people in London, contradicting the glamorous and powerful image of these individuals who are suddenly the target of surveillance cameras, exactly like criminals.

It is a pleasure to welcome this artist in the frame of the European Month of Photography (EMOP) 2017.
