Anja
Puntari

Born in 1979 in Germany, the Finnish audio-visual artist Anja Puntari lives and works between Helsinki and Milan. As she says herself, she prefers to see her artwork as active subjects, connected both to ourselves and the world that surrounds us.

What makes art so interesting, she believes, are the new meanings that are and should be continuously generated, interpreting a piece of art not in isolation of its context, but in relation to other artwork and the time and space in which they exist.
