Andrés Lejona

Born in Spain, Andrés is mainly interested in “photographie d’auteur” and the development of personal projects.

In 1987, he moves to Luxembourg where he meets the Cirque Raluy (Raluy Circus) as it passes through the country. From 1991, and for a period of more than one year, Andrés follows the Circus on its tour through Europe and the French West Indies.

On his return to Europe in 2001, he moves to Lisbon for three years before returning to Luxembourg where he currently lives and works. Between 1975 and 2008, he worked on the “findel” project based on the old airport of Luxembourg.

He has written several artist’s books and has exhibited at the Nei Liicht Center and the Casino Forum d’art contemporain as part of European Photography Month.
