Dr. Stefan Staedter is a Senior Associate in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach. He is specialised in regulated and unregulated investment fund work and advises clients mainly on the structuring, set-up and organisation of alternative investment funds (including in particular real estate funds, private equity funds and debt funds), RAIFs and SIFs as well as their respective management entities. Dr. Stefan Staedter is dedicated expert for European long-term investment funds (ELTIFs) and he advises the majority of ELTIFs which have been established in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
He has been a member of the Koblenz Bar (Germany) and Luxembourg Bar since 2015.
Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach, he has worked for several international law firms in Berlin, London and Luxembourg.
Dr. Stefan Staedter studied in Potsdam (Germany) and Paris (France). He holds a Master's degree in law from the University of Paris-X (France), a German first (2009) and second (2014) state exam in law and a German doctor's degree (2013). Dr. Stefan Staedter regularly publishes articles in European law journals, he is member of the ELTIF Working Group of ALFI and he organises round table discussions about ELTIF related topics.
