Günther Förg

Günther Förg was born in Germany in 1952 and passed away in 2013 in Switzerland. Günther Förg’s artwork may be characterised, if any, by only one trait; that of liberty.

In a constant effort to nourish his own meditations on modernism, unrestrained by any artistic movement or tendency, he expresses himself through various means such as photography, graphic and sculptural works. His works can be found in major collections, such as the Museum of Contemporary Art in Chicago.
