Carole Chaine

Luxembourgish artist and art professor Carole Chaine excels by playing on the subtlety of details, creating images whose researched aesthetic seems attractive at first but disturbing when revealing their hidden side.

She thus focuses on illustrating various mutations of representations, bewildering and deceiving human perceptions by uniting both Baudelairian luxury and disdain within the same object.
