Shweta Kumari is a Senior Manager in the Business Advisory practice of Arendt Regulatory & Consulting SA.
At Arendt, Shweta assists with the launch of new products and services within the Managed Services team, with a focus on PRIIPS KID, ESG and EET managed services. She is also responsible for defining and developing the go-to-market and related communication for new regulatory services. She helps asset servicers and ManCos drive transformation projects, with services ranging from service provider selection to implementation of the selected tool, leading each project through numerous stages (business analysis, development, testing and deployment).

Shweta has more than 14 years of diverse experience, ranging from working as a software engineer for a large telecom player in India, to running her business venture, to advising technology start-ups, to managing digital transformation projects in the fund industry for the last 6 years. Through her technology background and business education, she has developed deep expertise in defining new operating models, with a focus on driving improvements by identifying process inefficiencies and ways of enhancing the client experience. She also has a thorough understanding of the Asset Servicing market and the new operational and IT challenges it is facing.
As part of a management consulting group at a Big Four firm, Shweta implemented and managed many projects spanning AML KYC remediation, regulatory remediation for banks, digital distribution and settlement of funds with distributed ledger technology and digitalisation of investor tax reporting for asset servicers. She also performed due diligence on the asset servicers on behalf of the ManCos.
