Emilie Ramponi

Director, Governance Lead and General Secretary

Emilie Ramponi is Director – Governance Lead and General Secretary at Arendt Investor Services. She combines leadership of the General Secretariat and Corporate Affairs Department with the broader role of safeguarding and enhancing governance standards across the organisation. She is responsible for ensuring the smooth functioning of the Board of Directors and Management Committee, maintaining a robust governance framework, and fostering an integrated governance culture at all levels of the company.

Beyond her leadership responsibilities, Emilie contributes to the Governance Services line by providing subject matter expertise, training, and thought leadership. She designs and delivers governance training programs for internal staff and external professionals, helping to strengthen governance capabilities across the industry.

With extensive experience in corporate secretarial activities and governance proceedings for regulated and unregulated funds – including UCITS, private equity/private debt structures, and Super ManCos – Emilie brings deep knowledge of complex governance frameworks and boardroom dynamics. She also holds several mandates as a board member in UCITS and RAIF vehicles, which further strengthens her practical experience and board-level expertise.

  • Emilie holds a Bachelor’s (Hons) in Business Administration from the Ecole Supérieure de Commerce de Troyes (Y Schools, formerly Groupe ESC Troyes, France). She enriched her international outlook through studies at the University of Jyväskylä (Finland) and the University of Sunderland (UK) as part of the International Network for Business Administration (INBA) program.

  • Emilie is an affiliated member of the ILA (Luxembourg Institute of Governance).

  • Emilie started her professional career in 2006 working in the banking sector in Luxembourg. In 2010, she joined a management company where she gained solid knowledge in managing the legal cycle of investment funds. She moved to Arendt Investor Services in October 2016, where she worked on corporate secretarial activities and governance proceedings across regulated and unregulated funds. Over time, her responsibilities grew to include board governance work, governance best practices training and digital transformation initiatives, which culminated in her current role as Director – Governance Lead and General Secretary.
