In October 2009, as part of Arendt & Medernach’s continued international expansion, we opened our Hong Kong office, becoming the first independent Luxembourg law firm to be registered as a Foreign Law Firm with the Hong Kong Law Society.

Strategically, this allows us to cover all key jurisdictions and/or markets within the Asia-Pacific region such as Mainland China, Singapore, Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, and Australia, giving clients real time advice, during local business hours.

Advising exclusively on Luxembourg legal, tax and regulatory matters, we work for a large number of clients active in the financial sector including banks, insurance companies, retail fund managers (UCITS), private equity funds and hedge funds as well as companies and sovereign wealth funds based in the Asia-Pacific region.
