Arendt in lead of a landmark real estate deal for RFR Holding LLC in Portugal

Arendt served as lead counsel for RFR Holding LLC, a German-American asset manager with approx.. EUR 16 billion assets under management, in the financing of a major real estate development project involving the restoration and adaptation of a historic industrial building in Lisbon, Portugal. This real estate development will transform the site into the largest international school in the city, marking a pivotal moment in the rejuvenation of a neighbourhood emerging as one of the most innovative areas in the Portuguese capital.

The project focuses on the former Napolitana factory complex, which spans 12,000 square metres in the heart of the historic city centre. Upon completion, the school will be operated by Artemis Education. This redevelopment will not only reposition the asset but also contribute to the Alcântara district’s evolution into one of Lisbon’s most dynamic and prosperous areas.
