Arendt, in collaboration with the Luxembourg Stock Exchange, are pleased to invite you to a conference on Tuesday 3 March on the theme of “Non-financial reporting & sustainability-related disclosures – From voluntary to mandatory”.

The aim of this seminar is to focus on transparency on environmental, social and governance matters from underlying operational companies to issuers, asset managers and the financial sector at large.

Growing concerns over climate change and the acceleration of the regulatory interventions tackling these issues are building up the pressure on companies from all industry sectors, including the financial sector, to be more transparent of their identification, assessment and management of ESG issues.

Building on existing investor-driven market practices, and in the context of the European Commission’s action plan on financing sustainable growth, new rules relating to sustainability-related disclosures have been set and will impact financial market participants as soon as next year. To meet this new challenge the whole economy is gearing up leveraging on existing best practices like the LuxSE guide to ESG Reporting.

The speakers will address the following aspects and offer time for Q&As afterwards:

The new EU framework – Regulation (EU) 2019/2088 on sustainability-related disclosures in the financial services sector published on 9th December 2019
The LuxSE Guide to ESG Reporting

We look forward to welcoming you at this event.
