The Arendt & Art private collection in a few figures:
20 years – 100 artists – 300 works – 2 main themes: portraiture and landscape.

Gradually built up around the theme of contemporary photography, Arendt’s art collection is characterised by its spirit of openness. Its curator, Paul di Felice (MAI photography & contemporary art), organises 2 temporary exhibitions a year, after which works are acquired and added to the collection. Works by established and up-and-coming international and local artists are on show alongside each other.

The temporary exhibition, entitled ‘Me, Myself and Us’, brings together a group of artists (Cihan Çakmak, Omar Victor Diop, Krystyna Dul, Lyle Ashton Harris, Zanele Muholi, Cristina Nuñez and Emma Sarpaniemi) who use the self-portrait as a means of social, political and/or environmental engagement.
