Mario Ahrweiler is a Senior Manager in the Accounting department at Arendt Investor Services. He is a specialist in finance and accounting matters (LuxGaap) and HGB (German Gaap). 

Before joining Arendt Investor Services, Mario was Head of Finance in an e-money institute, where he led the finance team, designed procedures, reorganised the internal control system, digitised workflows and took care of taxation of the entity. In his role, he collaborated closely with the management board in daily business activities.

Mario’s current career began in Luxembourg, with six years at two global trust companies. There he worked with international clients investing in private equity (PE), largely in real estate projects in foreign jurisdictions (Germany, France, Spain, etc.). In these roles he led a team of accountants in addition to performing the preparation of tax returns.

His professional life began in Germany in a tax consultant agency, where he dealt with financial accounting and income tax and VAT returns, with a focus on small and medium-sized commercial companies. 

Mario earned a diploma in Integrated Studies of Sociology, Business Administration and Economics in Trier (Germany). He is also a certified tax clerk (Steuerfachwirt) in Germany.
