Madia Camara is a Counsel in the Private Equity & Real Estate practice of Arendt & Medernach.

She specialises in the structuring and formation of alternative investment funds and their managers (AIFMs) addressing all relevant regulatory matters.

She also actively advises domestic and international clients on private equity deals, including acquisitions, restructurings, financings and exits, covering the whole chain of private equity transactions.

Madia joined Arendt & Medernach in May 2011 and has been a member of the New York Bar since 2011.

From January 2017 to March 2019, Madia was seconded to Arendt & Medernach’s New York office where she advised US-based clients on their fund structuring and transactions having a Luxembourg component.

Madia Camara holds a Master's degree in business law (DJCE) from Université Cergy-Pontoise (France), a bilingual Master of Laws degree from Université Paris X Nanterre (France) as well as a Master of Laws degree (LL.M.) in US legal studies (California, USA).
