Anastasia Marie-Hontaas is a Senior Manager at Arendt Regulatory & Consulting.

Anastasia supports clients in setting up and reorganising their business in Luxembourg in the asset management industry. She gives advice in the field of company governance improvement and has in-depth knowledge of regulatory compliance issues, especially with respect to clients managing AIFs and UCITS. She supports Compliance officers in the delivery of their compliance programmes.

Before joining Arendt Regulatory & Consulting in 2012, she began her Luxembourg career working in the Compliance department of RBC Investor & Treasury Services, assisting the Compliance Officer on issues related to AML/KYC. She had previously acquired expertise as an intern in the Compliance and Risk departments of several French banks, including with the BPCE Group and La Banque Postale.

Anastasia holds a Master’s degree in Banking & Insurance with a focus on regulatory aspects of the financial sector, and is certified by the French Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF).
