Arendt & Medernach received the most listings in total of any firm in Luxembourg over the past year.

Arendt & Medernach was awarded “Luxembourg law firm of the year” at the Chambers Europe Awards 2023 ceremony which took place in Milan on 25 May 2023.

Arendt & Medernach was named Best Advisory Firm – UCITS on the occasion of the MENA Fund Manager Performance Awards in Dubai in January 2017. This is the fifth time in a row that the firm has won this award. It testifies to the reliability and quality of the services provided by the office in Dubai. This award recognises the firm as an invaluable support and guide for the MENA region fund/asset management domain.

The partners of Arendt & Medernach are pleased to announce that their firm has been awarded once again the prestigious “Luxembourg Tax Firm of the Year” title during the International Tax Review’s European Tax Awards ceremony held at the Savoy Hotel in London on 18 May 2017.
The European Tax Awards ceremony takes place annually and recognises the leading tax professionals around Europe. The firms are judged on key criteria such as size, innovation and complexity of their transactions. Arendt & Medernach has already won the Luxembourg Tax Firm of the Year award in 2015.

The Europe Women in Business Law Awards gives law firms and professional services firms the recognition they deserve for their efforts in helping women advance in the legal profession. Arendt & Medernach is proud to be the recipient of the best firm Country Award for Luxembourg for the third year running.
This Country Award hails the firm’s ability to support the development of women in the legal profession and provide work/life programmes to enable women to pursue legal careers.
The firms were nominated on the base of preliminary research, submissions, directory analysis, magazine survey results and interviews with leading female practitioners across multiple areas of law and jurisdictions. After being named “Rising Star” on the “MENA Fund Manager Service Provider Power 50” list in 2012, Arendt & Medernach won the award “Best Advisory Firm – Compliance and Regulation” at the 2013 MENA Fund Manager Fund Services Awards, which was held in Dubai on 22 January 2013. The MENA Fund Manager Awards reward service providers who have shaped the fund industry in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region and recognise firms which have outperformed their peer group in 2012. Run by the publication MENA Fund Manager, the prize was awarded for the first time this year. The judging panel was made up of representatives from MENA Fund Managers, leading institutional and private investors and industry experts. “We are very proud to have received this award which is a recognition for the expertise that we have developed in advising MENA Fund Managers, as well as a confirmation of our commitment to the region” says Florence Stainier, Investment Funds Partner and responsible for the MENA region at Arendt & Medernach. Over 980 people attended the 10th anniversary of the Gala HR One which took place on 22 November 2012 in Mondorf-les-Bains. During the ceremony, the best initiatives undertaken by Luxembourg actors and companies in the fields of employment law and human resources were rewarded by a jury of 82 Luxembourg Human Resources Directors. Arendt & Medernach has been selected by the jury of the well-known legal association International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards (ILASA) as “Benelux best law firm 2010” – together with the Belgian law firm Liedekerke Wolters Waelbroeck Kirkpatrick. The “Gold Award” 2010 was presented on 3 June 2010 at a gala in Paris. The deciding factors were transaction advice in the past two years, the profile of the M&A-partners and M&A-teams on the market and the financial and personnel development of the entire law firm. The Benelux-jury included General Counsels of world leading groups such as Alcatel-Lucent, Disney, CIT or Technip as well as the general manager of the European Company Lawyers Association. They assess law firms in all important industrial and developing nations. The Awards Ceremony on 3 June recognised the best independent law firms for 28 categories from their domestic markets and countries. The process to elect the best firms began 6 months prior to the event and engaged a panel of 98 jury members composed of exclusively active general counsels with extensive expertise in the concerned markets and countries. The nomination process was based on suggestions made by the jury and international rankings. On 3 June 2010 the International Legal Alliance Summit & Awards gathered 500 lawyers, managing partners, general counsels, leading professionals from the legal field from over 40 countries for one to one meetings and to celebrate the best independent performing firms.
