Yves Philippart de Foy is a Partner in the Tax Law practice of Arendt & Medernach.
He primarily advises UK-based and Spanish asset managers on Luxembourg tax matters, with a particular focus on private equity, private debt and fund-related financing structures. His practice covers both regulated and unregulated fund structures, co-investment arrangements, and complex holding and financing platforms.
Yves plays an active role in cross-border transactions involving Luxembourg and regularly works alongside leading UK and Spanish law firms, as well as Arendt’s investment management, corporate and finance teams. He is a key point of contact for asset managers investing through Luxembourg structures in a UK and Iberian context.
- Yves holds a Master’s in Business Law and an Advanced Master’s in Tax Law from the Université de Liège (Belgium).

- Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach in 2015, Yves worked as a senior tax advisor with a Big Four firm in Luxembourg. His practice focused on regulated and unregulated real estate investment structures, holding and financing arrangements, and cross-border corporate reorganisations.
