Sylvaine Fossen is the Head of Depositary at Arendt Investor Services.
Specialised in Alternative Investment Funds (“AIFs”), she provides Depositary services to investment funds with Private Equity, Real Estate, Infrastructure, Venture Capital, Debt and Fund of Funds strategies. She joined Arendt Investor Services SA in 2023 and has been working in the investment funds field since the beginning of her career, first in the UCITS sector and then in that of AIFs.
Sylvaine Fossen holds a Master’s in Applied Foreign Languages from the Université de Lorraine – UFR ALL (Metz, France), as well as the M1 and M2 Compliance certificates.
Before joining Arendt Investor Services SA, Sylvaine Fossen led the depositary department of a major fund administrator and corporate services provider in Luxembourg, where she was responsible for overseeing alternative investment funds. Prior to this, she worked in the regulatory department of a Big Four firm, where she was in charge of investment funds’ application files for registration in Asia. She also worked for a prominent US asset manager, where she was responsible for supervising hedge fund activities, focusing specifically on the impact of regulatory changes.
