Raphaëlle Carpentier is a Counsel in Knowledge Management for the Employment, Pensions & Benefits practice of Arendt & Medernach.

She shapes, structures and leverages legal knowledge across employment, pensions, benefits and immigration law. Raphaëlle oversees the planning, development and execution of knowledge management projects and initiatives for the Employment Law, Pensions & Benefits practice.

She also contributes to the dissemination of legal insights through publications and training programmes that support both internal teams and clients.
In addition, Raphaëlle is actively involved in rolling out artificial intelligence solutions within the practice, contributing to innovation, efficiency and the practical integration of legal technology into day-to-day work.

  • 2012-2013 – Complementary courses in Luxembourg law (CCDL) from the Ministry of Justice (Luxembourg).
  • 2011-2012 – LL.M. in European Economic Law, specialising in European litigation, from the University of Luxembourg and the University of Strasbourg (Luxembourg/France).
  • 2009-2010 – Bachelor’s in Legal and Administration Studies from the University of Lincoln (England) and Bachelor’s in Economic and Social Administration from the University of Rouen Normandy (France).

  • Raphaëlle was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2015.
  • Raphaëlle has been a member of the editorial board of Le Guide des Comptes Annuels pour le Luxembourg, ed. Wolters Kluwer since 2017.

  • Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach and transitioning into Knowledge Management in 2022, Raphaëlle worked at a Magic Circle law firm for almost 10 years, where she advised both national and international clients on all aspects of employment law, such as individual and collective dismissal procedures, immigration matters, transfer of undertakings, secondments, consultancy arrangements, social security issues, due diligence and business licences. She also conducted real estate due diligences relating to environmental matters and urban planning licences.
