Maria Rodriguez is a Senior Associate in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach.
She specialises in the structuring and formation of private equity alternative investment funds and their managers (AIFMs), in addition to all relevant regulatory matters.
She advises domestic and international clients on private equity deals, including acquisitions, restructurings, financings and exists, covering the whole chain of private equity transactions.
- Maria has a Master’s (LLM) in Banking and International Financial Law from the University of Luxembourg (Luxembourg).
- She also has a Master’s in European Governance from the University of Luxembourg (Luxembourg).
- She earned her Bachelor’s (LLB) in Law from the University of Luxembourg (Luxembourg).
- In addition, she has a Bachelor’s in Political Science from Queen’s University (Canada).
- Maria is a member of the Luxembourg Bar.
- She is also Co-Chair of the LPEA Private Funds Committee.
- Maria previously worked at Arendt between 2018 and 2021, before moving to work in the Luxembourg office of a global firm. In this role, she gained further, wide-ranging expertise in all areas of investment management, including fund structuring across alternative assets classes, as well as associated regulatory and corporate experience.
