Arendt is pleased to have advised Lumyna Investments Limited, part of Generali Investments, in the establishment of its private markets platform, which now includes two innovative investment strategies:
- Lumyna – King Street Credit Opportunities Fund: An innovative evergreen private credit strategy designed to meet the rising demand for flexible lending.
- Lumyna – Twelve Capital Parametric ILS Fund: A pioneering evergreen ILS fund that allocates to parametric insurance, Industry Loss Warrants (ILWs), and catastrophe (cat) bonds, providing investors with diversification and de-correlated returns.
This expansion marks a significant milestone for Lumyna as it strengthens its position in the private markets space, offering investors access to differentiated and innovative investment opportunities.
The Lumyna – King Street Credit Opportunities Fund, developed in partnership with King Street Capital Management, has an opportunistic investment mandate that provides access beyond traditional private credit strategies by dynamically allocating across corporate and asset-based lending, dislocated public credit opportunities and select distressed situations.
The Lumyna – Twelve Capital Parametric ILS Fund, developed in partnership with Twelve Securis, focuses on parametric insurance solutions. Seeded by a top-tier European institutional investor, the fund leverages the expertise of fintech leader Descartes Underwriting and Generali’s GC&C division, offering investors exposure to a scalable and efficient asset class. Arendt supported Lumyna in structuring and launching this private markets platform, reflecting our commitment to providing comprehensive legal and regulatory advice for innovative alternative investment solutions.
