Senior Associate

Alexandre Durand is a Senior Associate in the Tax Law practice of Arendt & Medernach.

He specialises in both national and international tax structuring for corporate entities, as well as regulated and unregulated investment funds (private equity, real estate and debt funds). He advises funds on set-up, specific investments and operational issues such as carried interest and fee structuring.

Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach, Alexandre gained significant experience in Luxembourg in the tax department of a Big Four firm and at a major independent tax firm, where he mainly advised on regulated and unregulated real estate investment structures, holding and financing activities and cross-border corporate reorganisations.

Alexandre is a graduate of the EDHEC Business School (LL.M. in Law & Tax Management and Master’s in Management – Grande Ecole), and of the Catholic University of Lille (France) where he earned a Master’s in Corporate Law. He also holds a post-graduate degree in Luxembourg tax.
