About the training session
Context
The main objectives of MiFID II are to harmonise regulation of EU financial markets, increase competition between EU financial markets, ensure appropriate levels of investor protection, and strengthen supervisory powers.
MiFID II rules apply to the provision of investment services or activities by banks and investment firms in relation to financial instruments as well as to credit institutions authorised to carry out MiFID activities.
Objectives
At the end of the training, participants will be able to
• Identify and understand how the provisions of MiFID II apply to their company
• Understand MiFID II rules applicable to Investment Fund Managers authorised to render MiFID investment services
• Discuss the specificities of the implementation of MiFID II rules within your organisation and on its business model.
