Recent years have seen an increase in European and national rules regulating the organisation, powers, duties, and functions of public authorities of all kinds engaged in administration. Mainly inspired by EU legislation, administrative law has developed into a specific field of law in Luxembourg that is to a large extent complemented by constitutional law. Our administrative law, property, construction and environment team regularly advises and represents the Luxembourg state, municipalities, association of municipalities and other public bodies, as well as private sector companies dealing with administrative and constitutional law issues.
Christian Point is a partner and a member of both the Administrative Law, Property, Construction & Environment and the Dispute Resolution practices of Arendt & Medernach. He specialises in real estate law and insurance, both contentious and non-contentious. He has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 1994. Christian Point holds a Master's degree in law from the Université Nancy II (France) as well as two degrees in tax and business law (DESS droit des affaires et fiscalité; DJCE).
