The objective of this training is to introduce FinTechs to the fundamentals of how banks in Luxembourg work, how they are organized, what they expect from FinTechs and what is critical to know for a good collaboration.

In 2020, Arendt conducted a study on the collaboration between banks and FinTechs, which highlighted important misunderstandings about banks and their functioning. These perceptual gaps too often lead to difficult collaborations between the two worlds. The aim of this training is to explain what a bank is as a company, how it works, their governance, their decision making process, the sensibility to compliance and risks, and to give the keys to navigate through this environment for a successful collaboration.

Upon completion of this training, participants will have a comprehensive understanding of how the banks function in Luxembourg, what is important to them and what they expect from FinTechs. The objective is to increase the success rate of FinTechs’ sales activities and projects in Luxembourg.
