Lorraine Chéry is a Counsel in the Employment Law, Pensions & Benefits practice of Arendt & Medernach. She specialises in employment and social security matters.

Lorraine’s practice includes both counselling and litigation in relation to individual and collective employment issues. She most often deals with issues related to employment contracts, termination and settlement negotiations, compensation and benefits, sick leave, social security and collective bargaining (collective agreement, employee representatives, etc). In this context, Lorraine also regularly gives training and conferences.

Lorraine has been a member of the Luxembourg Bar since 2009. She is also a member of the Employment Law Specialists Association in Luxembourg (ELSA).

Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach in 2021, Lorraine worked for more than 10 years at another Luxembourg law firm, where she also specialised in employment law.

Lorraine studied in Strasbourg, France and in Luxembourg. She holds a Master in General Private Law and a Master II in Employment Law and Social Security from the University of Strasbourg (France).
