The acquisition forms part of the ongoing development of the Arendt group business lines that work closely with its legal practice. It arms them with digital and technological solutions capable of responding to the needs of the market – specifically with respect to the digitalisation and robotised automation of operational processes. Among others, Mobilu’s service offering covers digital board management, client onboarding and electronic signature solutions.

“We were already familiar with Mobilu, in that we have worked together for a number of years on several innovative projects for Arendt Services and Arendt & Medernach, particularly the Arendt Insights mobile app. Today, we have added the skill this agile and creative group has to offer to that of our existing teams. We possess complementary know-how,” remarked Jean-Marc Ueberecken, Managing Partner at Arendt & Medernach.

Mobilu, created in 2011, will also be able to draw on the group’s support to accelerate its own growth, especially when it comes to increasing its Luxembourg clientele. As a result of Mobilu's integration into Arendt, our CIO Abdelhay Toudma will now serve alongside Mobilu’s founder and CEO David Iachetta as his Co-CEO.

Arendt acquiert la société Mobilu, spécialisée en digitalisation et robotisation

Afin d'accélérer sa stratégie numérique, Arendt a récemment pris une participation majoritaire dans Mobilu, une société luxembourgeoise spécialisée dans les processus opérationnels, la digitalisation et la robotisation.

Cette acquisition s’inscrit dans la continuité du développement des métiers du groupe Arendt ayant un lien étroit avec les services juridiques, en leur adjoignant des solutions digitales et technologiques répondant aux besoins du marché, et spécifiquement dans la digitalisation et la robotisation de processus opérationnels. La gestion des conseils d’administration digitaux, le client onboarding ou la signature électronique sont parmi les solutions proposées par Mobilu.

« Les équipes de Mobilu nous étaient déjà bien connues dans la mesure où nous collaborons depuis de nombreuses années sur un certain nombre de projets innovants destinés à Arendt Services ou Arendt & Medernach, et notamment l’application mobile Arendt Insights. Aujourd’hui les compétences de cette équipe agile et créative viennent compléter celles de nos équipes déjà en place. Nos savoir-faire sont complémentaires », indique Jean-Marc Ueberecken, Managing Partner d’Arendt & Medernach.

Mobilu, fondée en 2011, pourra par ailleurs compter sur le soutien du groupe pour accélérer sa croissance, notamment pour développer sa clientèle luxembourgeoise. Signe de l’intégration de la société au sein du groupe Arendt, Abdelhay Toudma, CIO d’Arendt, vient par ailleurs épauler David Iachetta, fondateur et CEO de Mobilu, en devenant son co-CEO.
