This training session is intended to provide participants with basic knowledge of the key features of the new type of Luxembourg alternative investment fund, the reserved alternative investment fund (referred to as RAIF), and the new fund labels which have been introduced at European level, being the European Venture Capital Funds (referred to as EuVECA), the European Social Entrepreneurship Funds (referred to as EuSEF) as well as the European Long-Term Investment Funds (referred to as ELTIF).

We will examine the main legal and regulatory requirements and aspects for setting up and launching fund structures in Luxembourg benefiting from the newly introduced labels as well as the new structuring options which may be envisaged with the expected introduction of the RAIF.

The in-depth training will also highlight the interactions between the new labels and the alternative investment fund managers directive (AIFMD).
