Objectives

This training session has the following objectives:

  • To identify the main issues as regards harassment and discrimination at work
  • To raise awareness among participants of the fight against harassment, discrimination and violence in the workplace
  • To present the main legal provisions as regards harassment and discrimination (and to discuss, where applicable, the procedures in place within the company)
  • To provide concrete examples of what constitutes harassment and discrimination at work.

Content

During this training session, the speaker will:

  • Discuss in particular the importance of being informed/trained as regards issues of harassment and discrimination at work
  • Present the legal rules regarding discrimination (criteria, scope, examples)
  • Present the legal rules in respect of psychological harassment, sexual harassment and discriminatory harassment (criteria, scope, examples)
  • Present the legal rules on the prohibition of reprisals
  • Present employers’ principal obligations regarding harassment and discrimination at work, as well as the course of action open to employees.
