Senior Associate

Pierre-Yves Mauchard is a Senior Associate in the Investment Management practice of Arendt & Medernach. He specialises in investment fund law, focusing mainly on UCITS, regulated alternative investment fund structures and Luxembourg occupational pension fund schemes (IORP).

Pierre-Yves advises clients on regulated investment fund law, particularly the structuring and lifecycle management of regulated investment funds, and legal and regulatory issues. He has extensive experience of filing and liaising with the Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF). He also focuses on the legal and regulatory aspects of digital finance within the fund industry.

Pierre-Yves is an active member of the Association of the Luxembourg Fund Industry (ALFI).

He has been listed with the Luxembourg Bar since September 2019.

Pierre-Yves holds a maîtrise en droit (Master’s in Law) from the Université de Lorraine (France) and a LL.M. from the Universität Trier (Germany).

Languages: English, French, German, knowledge of Japanese.
