Senior Associate

Aleksandra Gburzynska is a Senior Associate in the Tax Law practice of Arendt & Medernach. She specialises in VAT law. She advises on the national and international VAT aspects of financial and commercial transactions involving Soparfis, real estate companies, investment funds and financial institutions.

She was admitted to the Luxembourg Bar in 2018.

Prior to joining Arendt & Medernach in 2016, she worked as a tax advisor with one of the Big Four firms in Luxembourg, where she provided VAT advice to investment funds, banks and financial intermediaries, and also gained experience at the Directorate General for Taxation and Customs Union of the European Commission.

She holds a Master’s in International Trade Law from the University Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne (France) and a Master’s in European Studies with a specialisation in economics from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (Belgium). Aleksandra also participated in an exchange programme with Universidad del Salvador (Argentina).
